Solfège and Music Dictation are closely connected in each volume of this series.

Both subjects are placed side by side in order to explore the same elements (notes, intervals, and rhythms).

The exercises are built progressively, allowing students to advance at their own pace while gradually integrating each new element.

Solfège and Music Dictation – Level 1

Volume 1 includes the following elements in Solfège and Music Dictation:

• Key: Do Major

• Time signatures: 2/4 and 4/4

• Range: Do to Do1

• Intervals: Notes from Do Major scale, triad and arpeggio

• Rhythm: Various rhythms in 2/4 and 4/4, a rhythm chart is included and the end of the workbook

• Solfège: Progressive rhythmic, rhythmic voicing and singing exercises with online accompaniment  

Music Dictation: An overview of the notes and rhythms studied in the Solfège lesson, with online accompaniment
